The Northwest Angle and Islands is home to some of the best fresh-water fishing in the world.  Lake of the Woods is best known for its abundance of Walleye and Muskie, but anglers can also expect to find Northern Pike, Sauger, Crappie, Small Mouth Bass and Jumbo Perch.

Your Guided Fishing Trip

When fishing with Angle Andy, you will fish in a NEW Lund 2075 Pro-VAngle Andy has a variety of fishing rods and tackle for guests to use, however you are always encouraged to bring your favorite (or lucky) equipment and tackle. 

Your day of fishing begins at 8am.  Angle Andy will meet you at the dock and be ready to leave promptly at 8am.  Angle Andy will make sure that you have enough bait and ice for your day of fishing.  You will fish a variety of spots on Lake of the Woods throughout the day.  Most guests choose to have a shore-lunch around noon, however you can choose to bring a sack lunch and fish through lunch.  If you choose to have a shore-lunch, Angle Andy will prepare your fresh catch on an island.  In addition, you will enjoy potatoes or wild rice, beans, and corn with your fish.  You will return to the dock of your resort at 5pm.  Angle Andy will clean your fish upon return.
